Review – The man who didn’t call, @therosiewalsh ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trigger warning – heartbreak, grief.
Wow. This is the first book to make me cry.
Walsh writes in such a way that the story is never boring or paused or slows down, it’s so easy to read.
Her story is emotional. Her writing is stunning. Her characters are wonderful. Her ability to create emotions is fantastic. Her skill to keep the reader hooked on every page, line to line is admirable. Her talent of placing the scene’s imagery in the reader’s mind is spot on.
There were a few moments during the very first section where I was trying to make out the plot – but this is not to say Walsh made a mistake, the mystery of the plot really does thicken, I promise you.
I read this with @ems.reads_ and for me, this was a 5 out of 5 because I just can’t fault Walsh’s writing or creativity. It’s everything I wanted the story to be, and so so much more. I pictured the characters, and I felt the heartbreak, captivated by every twist and turn (there are more than you’ll expect, which only betters the reading experience).
If you’ve experienced heartache or love, this will get you, right in the pit of your stomach.
Yes, I’d recommend ❤️ ps thanks for being a lovely buddy read Ems!
