It’s the weekend, it’s been a funny old week, but it is the weekend👏🏻

here’s a few recent purchases I treated myself to last weekend 📚 one was a charity shop buy, and two were a non charity shop find.

📚the lovely bones – Alice Arnold
📚The language of kindness – Christie Watson
📚surrounded by idiots – Thomas Erikson

I’ve been told I look like the character in the lovely bones, I love the idea of empathy through non fiction, and I studied Erikson at University, and I’m fascinated by our human behaviour.

Have you read these? Whats your next read thar you’re genuinely excited about? Have tagged a few wonderful people 📚💕

  1. I watched The Lovely Bones and it broke my heart🥺 I’ve got the book but don’t know if I could handle it right now🤦🏻‍♀️😂
Surrounded by idiots sounds like my kind of book🙌🏼 xx

  2. Loved The Lovely Bones -have you read ‘Lucky’??? Her memoirs and really upsetting about her experience with sexual assault but an incredibly powerful book.

  3. I read the lovely ones years ago and it’s still one of my favourite books. A hard read but very good x
